Description: Staff and a student from Next Steps at Vanderbilt share tips and strategies for educators on teaching students about appropriate social media use. This webcast includes strategies for teaching safety and etiquette, personal vs. professional use of social media, and how to teach proper use within the classroom. A student will also share how they have learned to use social media both personally and professionally.

Presenters:
Lindsay Krech: As the Co-Director of Career Development, Lindsay oversees all career exploration and development initiatives for underclassmen enrolled at Vanderbilt University though the Next Steps at Vanderbilt program. Lindsay holds a Master’s of Community Development degree from Vanderbilt University.

Megan Macon: As the Co-Director of Career Development, Megan manages all career development initiatives for upperclassmen, including developing, managing, and leading all off-campus employment and internship opportunities, teaching seminar courses each semester, and supervising job coaches. Megan received her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt University in 2016.

JR Harrison: JR is a current Next Steps student. He is a member of the class of 2022.
